About material
A blend of two fibers and jewel thread (a thread that has been specially processed by kneading ruby, sapphire, emerald, jade, crystal, gold, silver, platinum and dozens of natural stones) to create a glossy and light feel. , Made with materials that are comfortable to the touch. Weaving, dyeing, processing, all processes are done in Japan at one of Japan's leading textile factories. We pursued to make it with the earth-friendly material as much as possible with the original blend rate.
Tencel (regenerated fiber)
Tencel is said to be "the most eco-friendly fiber in the world" and is made from eucalyptus trees. It does not require pesticides or chemical fertilizers and can be grown in a small area. Regenerated fiber made exclusively from sustainable forestry tree pulp. Wood pulp is sourced from man-managed and cultivated forests, rather than harvesting natural forests or endangered forests. The solvent used to dissolve the wood pulp is harmless to nature and humans, and after almost 100% recovery, it can be recycled and reused, minimizing the impact on the environment and producing no waste liquid. It is also compostable, certified biodegradable, can be returned to the natural environment, and does not emit toxic gases when incinerated. It is characterized by its soft texture, luster, excellent moisture absorption, and drape.
Organic cotton
We use Turkish cotton that has been organically grown on farmland that does not use pesticides or chemical fertilizers for over 3 years. The farmland is certified by a certification body and is grown according to strict cultivation standards. No pesticides or chemical fertilizers are used, and the farming method does not go against the natural cycle. It is a material that helps reduce the burden on the environment.

The textile company that handles Gem Fabric is a Japanese textile company founded in 1897 (Meiji 30). Our head office is located in Gamagori City, Aichi Prefecture, a picturesque town surrounded by mountains on three sides and overlooking Mikawa Bay. This area, which used to be called "Mikawa Province", is said to be the place where cotton was introduced. We are a “professional group of fabrics” specializing in natural fiber fabrics.
